Massage Felt Too Soft? How to Get the Intensity You Need
The flip side of the fear of pain is disappointment at a massage that's too soft. You came to release the knots after a long journey or a hard week, and got light stroking with oil. The hour passed, the money was spent, and the tension stayed. This too can be prevented in advance.
Tell us the goal of your visit
A relaxing and a therapeutic massage are different tasks. If you need specific areas worked on (neck, lower back, shoulders after flights), say so at the reception. The therapist will focus there rather than spread the time evenly «for the mood».
Use the pressure scale
Our 1–10 scale works both ways. Want it deeper — name a 7–8, and the therapist will add intensity. If you feel you'd like it firmer mid-session, just say so: we check ourselves, but your initiative is always welcome.
Choosing the ritual for your request
Deeper work suits the more intense programs, while a flower bath or scrub is about relaxation and skin care. If you're unsure what to pick, describe the goal — we'll suggest the right ritual.
The main rule: a massage at 2MoonSpa adapts to you, not the other way around. The more precisely you state your expectations, the more precise the result.
